Theme Philosophy

Function first, personality intact

DarkMatter theme work is not limited to changing colors. The goal is to make interfaces more comfortable to use, easier to read and more coherent across long sessions while preserving the behavior of the original application. When a theme needs targeted exceptions, those exceptions are kept narrow so the interface remains maintainable as the underlying software changes.

Readable Contrast, spacing and hierarchy are tuned for practical use rather than decoration alone.

Targeted Specific selectors and interface variables are preferred over broad overrides that damage unrelated components.

Expandable The library is organized by platform so future theme families can grow without turning the archive into a pile of loose files.

Current Release

First public theme

Comfy Chair 1.0.0 is the first available DarkMatter Themes release. It is a local Stylus dark theme for cPanel Jupiter with targeted Installatron styling, developed for use on shared hosting without requiring WHM or server-level theme access.
